On Saturday, I photographed my first maternity session. I had so much fun and even got the opportunity to test a few ideas out. I can't wait to meet precious baby V in a month or so; I'm actually hoping I'll have the opportunity to capture her birth for mom and dad.
Here are a couple of examples of the fun shots and perspectives I was trying out. I'm really liking the overhead perspective.
It was a gorgeous evening, the temperature was perfect and the sunset was wonderful!
This picture cracks me up! "Grammy" wanted this shot because Baby V likes to kick mom in the rib and mom is constantly doing this. Well, we set it up, I fired off a few shots and then Baby actually does kick mom in the ribs making it one of the best shots of the evening!
